Chapter 6: Creating GUMU™ configuration Menu Item in Sage X3

For real-time customer changes from Sage X3 to Sage CRM, the GUMU™ module is created in Sage X3. This gets installed automatically in Sage X3 for the v6.5 version when you follow Chapter 3 of the JAR file upload. In this case, the user can skip this chapter.

For Sage X3 v7 and above, the users will have to create these GUMU™ module Menu Items manually by following the below steps.

1. Creating Menu item: - To create Menu item navigate to Administrator -> Authoring -> Menu items. Create a new Menu item with the below details:

2. Create Menu Sub Module: - To create Menu Sub Module navigate to Administrator -> Authoring -> Menu submodules. Create a new Menu Sub Module with the below details:

Code: XX3KGUMUCONFIG Title: GUMU Configuration Application: X3 ERP Items: Search by Code: XX3KXGC

3. To create a Menu Module - Navigate to Administrator -> Authoring -> Menu Modules. Create a new Menu Module with the below details:

Code: XX3KCONFIGURATION Title: Configuration Application: X3 ERP SubModules: GUMU Configuration Navigation pages: Administration dashboard.

4. Create MENU Navigation:-

  1. GO TO Administration>Authoring>Navigation pages.

  2. It will open the navigation pages that are available. Click on the Home button and ‘Edit page content’ in the content pane. It will open the below screen.

  3. Click on the '+' icon to add the newly created configuration screen. Once done, click on the save button.
