Import Items from Sage 100 to Sage CRM Products
Note: This is a onetime process when you start using the integration. Alternatively, you can use this option if you are importing bulk data in your Sage 100 system through an external source and then want this to be synched to Sage CRM
You will be able to view the Import Products option only if you have complete suite edition of GUMU™ for Sage CRM – Sage 100. This screen will allow you to import Sage 100 items into Sage CRM products. The import procedure is explained in detail in the following section.
Note: Make sure you have configured the currency settings, if not refer Pre-requisites.
Select company from company tab in Import customers tab.
Here again like import customers there are 3 methods to import items from Sage 100 to Sage CRM.
You just have to click on sync which will sync all customers without any criteria
Item Updated Since:
a. You need to select a date by clicking on the calendar button. The single arrows on the extreme left and right will navigate through the months of the year and the double arrows will navigate through the years. Please refer the below image.
b. To select a particular date you need to click on the particular date cell and this date will be populated in the text box. See below image.
c. GUMU™ integration will now sync records from Sage 100 which have been added or updated on or after the specified date.
Note: The date displayed in the text-box would be in the MM/DD/YYYY format.
d. Click on the Sync button to sync records from Sage 100 to Sage CRM based on the date specified.
e. If there already a record in Sage CRM with the same item code then that record will be updated in Sync process.
From Item and To Item
f. For this option you need to specify the Item Code in the From and To boxes.
g. GUMU™ integration will now sync the all the items that lie between the 2 item code specified.
h. Click on the Sync button to sync records from Sage 100 to Sage CRM based on the items specified.
Note: Criteria for importing products - The import will get only the standard pricing from Sage 100 to Sage CRM. However, this is only to set the product and it’s pricing as ‘Active’ in Sage CRM. It is not possible to replicate the Sage 100 pricing structure in Sage CRM. However, during order entry, GUMU™ reads the pricing from Sage 100 on a real time basis so that users get the latest pricing from Sage 100.
