Account

The Account detail screen appears as below along with the “Promote Customer” button. Prior to proceeding with this kindly assign the type of the Account as Customer.

Click on Promote Customer button. The screen navigates to a page for selecting the integration from the list or it will display default integration, if one has been set to be used as a “Default Integration”.

Click on Next button. The screen navigates to a page for entering details required for promoting a Customer. Fill the required details

Enter the details in the Promote customer screen;:

  1. Integration – Specify the configured Integration name, if the default integration is not set or selected by default.

  2. Category- Specify the default category to be used for the customer based on your business scenario.

  3. Currency- Specify the default Currency to be used for the customer based on your business scenario.

  4. Language- Specify the default Language to be used for the customer based on your business scenario.

  5. Tax rule- Specify the default Tax rule to be used for the customer based on your business scenario.

  6. Payment Terms- Specify the default Payment Terms to be used for the customer based on your business scenario.

  7. Salesperson – Specify the Salesperson, to be used for the customer record based on your setting in the Sage system.

  8. Customer No – Specify the non-existing “Customer No”. to be used for the customer record based on your business scenario.

Click on the Promote button in the Screen; to promote the Account into Sage X3.
