Estimates

The Estimates section provides a detailed view of proposed work and associated costs for a customer account. It allows users to create, review, and manage cost proposals before jobs are approved or scheduled.

Field List and Descriptions

1	Estimate number	Auto generated unique number for each estimate.
2	Customer	Lookup field to account for which estimate is added.
3	Site contact	Lookup field for primary contact on site.
4	Service plan	The Service Plan field in an estimate allows users to link the estimate to an existing service plan for the customer account.
5	Status	Display status of estimate for example accepted, cancelled, closed etc.
6	Job Type	Displays type of job for which estimate is created.
7	Date	The Date field represents the creation or issue date of the estimate.
8	Tentative date and time	The Tentative Date and Time field indicates the proposed schedule for when the estimated work or service is expected to be performed.
9	Estimated by	The Estimated By field identifies the service engineer or user responsible for creating the estimate.
10	Work description	The Work Description field is used to provide a detailed explanation of the work or services proposed in the estimate.
11	Items total	Auto calculated value for items added for estimates.
12	Other charges	Displays other charges if applied for estimates.
13	Grand total	Auto calculated field which displays the overall estimated amount.
14	Notes	Extra notes related to estimates can be added here.
