# Using Resource Planner with My CRM
Resource Planner can be used as a **diary management** tool by integrating with **My CRM**. Activities created in Resource Planner are automatically synchronized with the user's appointments in My CRM, providing a single view of scheduled activities.
For example, if a user records activities for a particular day in Resource Planner, those activities are automatically displayed in the **Appointments** section of the user's **My CRM** page. Likewise, appointments created in **My CRM** are automatically reflected in the Resource Planner calendar.
This synchronization ensures that users can manage their schedules from either interface while keeping both views up to date.
#### Synchronization with My CRM
Resource Planner and My CRM work together by automatically sharing appointment information.
The synchronization provides the following benefits:
* Activities created in **Resource Planner** appear in the user's **My CRM – Appointments** section.
* Appointments created in **My CRM** are automatically displayed in **Resource Planner**.
* Users can view the schedules of all users configured as **View as Resource** within Resource Planner.
This integration provides a centralized view of resource availability and user schedules, making Resource Planner suitable for both resource scheduling and diary management.
