# Email Notifications

Resource Planner allows email notifications to be sent to users associated with Resource Planner entries. Email notifications help keep participants informed about scheduled activities and resource bookings.

#### Prerequisites for Email Notifications

Before a user can receive Resource Planner email notifications, the following conditions must be met:

1. **Receive Resource Planner Notifications** must be enabled for the user.
2. The user must be included in the **Users** field of a Resource Planner entry.
3. The resource must be displayed on the **Resource Planner** screen.

#### Sending Email Notifications

The **Email to Resources** button allows users to send email notifications to all resources displayed within the current Resource Planner view.

When selected, Resource Planner sends email notifications to:

* All users listed in the **Users** field of the selected Resource Planner entry.

* All users associated with any other Resource Planner entries currently displayed on the screen.

For example, if multiple Resource Planner entries are visible, selecting **Email to Resources** sends notifications to the users associated with each displayed entry.
