Resource Planner Orientation

Resource Planner allows administrators to configure the default layout of the Resource Planner screen for all users.

The available orientation options are:

• Resources on Top

• Resources on Left (Default)

This setting defines whether resources are displayed across the top of the planner or along the left side of the planner.

The global orientation can be overridden by each user's individual Resource Planner preferences.

Resource Order

Resource Planner also allows administrators to define the order in which resources are displayed.

Resource rows or columns can be sorted using any available user field by adding that field to the Resource Order By family.

To modify this setting:

1. Navigate to Administration → Customization → Secondary Entities → EnbuConfig.

2. Open the RP Resource Order By field.

3. Configure the required user field for resource ordering.

Once configured, Resource Planner displays resources according to the selected sorting field, making it easier to organize and locate resources within the planner.

Resource Order Direction

Resource Planner allows administrators to define the direction in which resources are displayed after configuring the Resource Order By field.

The resource order can be set to either:

• Ascending (ASCENDING)

• Descending (DESCENDING)

To configure the order direction:

1. Navigate to Administration → Customization → Secondary Entities → EnbuConfig.

2. Open the RP Order Dir field.

3. Select the required order direction (ASCENDING or DESCENDING).

4. Save the changes.

The selected order direction determines how resources are displayed within the Resource Planner based on the field configured in RP Resource Order By.
