# Configuring Resource Planner
Resource Planner can be configured at both the **global** level and the **individual user** level.
Global configuration is available through:
**Administration → Customization → Enbu Config**
User-specific configuration is available through:
**Main Menu → Resource Planner → Config**
After configuring the users and resources that will use Resource Planner, additional user preferences can be configured to customize the application according to business requirements.
**User Setup – Resource Type**
Each **Resource Planner** user includes a Resource Type setting.
The available resource types are:
* **Project Manager**
* **Projector**
This setting can be used as a filter within the Resource Planner screen, allowing users to display resources based on their assigned resource type.
#### User Setup – Resource Planner Notifications
Users can choose whether to receive Resource Planner notifications.
To enable notifications, select the **Receive Resource Planner Notifications** checkbox for the required user.
When enabled, the user will receive notifications generated by Resource Planner.
#### User Setup – Grid Axis and View Preferences
Resource Planner allows each user to configure their preferred grid orientation.
The **Grid Axis and View Preferences** setting enables users to adjust the Resource Planner layout according to their individual viewing preference.
