# Self Service

The **Project Manager Web Portal** allows users to access their assigned project tasks and timesheets through a web interface. This enables users to update their work without accessing the internal Sage CRM application.

**Note:** A **Sage CRM Self Service** license is required to use the Web Portal feature.

### Enable Self Service Access

To enable a user for the Project Manager Web Portal:

1. Navigate to **Administration → Users → Find User**.

2. Select the required user.
3. Open the **Self-Service** tab.
4. Click **Change**.
5. Select the **Self-Service** checkbox.
6. Modify the login details if required.
7. Click **Save**.

This enables the selected user to access the Project Manager Web Portal.

**Note:** Users accessing the Web Portal do **not** need to be active Sage CRM users. They can be user accounts configured as **Resources**

### Accessing the Web Portal

To launch the Project Manager Web Portal:

* Click **Start → Programs → Greytrix Project Manager**, or
* Click **Start → Programs → Greytrix Business Manager**, and then select **Greytrix Project Manager Web Portal**.

Enter your login credentials and click **Login** to access the Web Portal.

### Managing Tasks

The **Tasks** tab displays all tasks assigned to the logged-in user.

Users can:

* View assigned tasks.
* Filter tasks by **Status**.
* Filter tasks by **Task Name**.

These filters help users quickly locate and manage their assigned project tasks.

### Managing Timesheets

The **Timesheets** tab allows users to view and maintain their project timesheets.

Users can:

* View the current week's timesheets.
* View the current month's timesheets.
* Create new timesheet entries against assigned tasks.

#### Creating a Timesheet Entry

To create a new timesheet entry:

1. Open the **Timesheets** tab.
2. Click the required date to open the **New Timesheet Entry** window.
3. Enter the **Project Name** or click the **Project** lookup (magnifying glass) to search for a project.
4. Select the required project.
5. Enter the **Task Name** or click the **Task** lookup (magnifying glass) to select a task associated with the project.
6. Verify the entry date.
7. Enter the **Billed** amount.
8. Click **Save** to create the timesheet entry.

**Note:** Before creating a timesheet entry, Project Manager validates that sufficient **Allocated Days** and **Remaining Days** are available for the selected task. If the validation fails, the timesheet entry cannot be created.
