Creating a New Drawdown Against a Budget Line Item

The final step in configuring a budget is to create a Drawdown against a Budget Line Item.

A Drawdown represents a budget request that must go through the required approval process before the requested amount can be released or paid. Drawdowns are designed to support repeatable requests against a specific Budget Line Item.

Creating a Drawdown

To create a new Drawdown:

  1. Open the required Budget Line Item from the Budget Summary screen.

  2. Click the New Drawdown button available on the right-hand side.

  3. The New Drawdown screen will be displayed.

Saving the Drawdown

After entering the required Drawdown information:

  1. Click Save.

  2. The user will be redirected back to the Budget Line Item screen.

  3. A summary of all Drawdowns associated with the selected Budget Line Item will be displayed.

The created Drawdown will now be available for further tracking and approval processing based on the configured budget workflow
