Creating a New Budget Line Item

Budget Line Items act as containers for Drawdowns within a budget. They help divide the overall budget allocation into specific categories based on business requirements, such as Travel Expenses, Hardware Purchases, or other cost categories.

Each Budget Line Item represents a specific section of the main budget and allows individual resource requests (Drawdowns) to be managed separately.

  1. Open the required Budget Summary screen.

  2. Click New Budget Line Item on the right-hand side of the Budget screen.
