# Accessing Budget Planner

Since **Budget Planner** generates documents, a compatible version of **Microsoft Office** (from 2003 to the latest available version) must be installed on the server where Budget Planner is configured.

After completing the required configuration, Budget Planner can be accessed from the following locations:

* **New Menu:**\
  Budget Planner is available under the New menu in the left-hand navigation panel.
* **Find Menu:**\
  Budget Planner can also be accessed from the Find menu in the left-hand navigation panel.

* **Company/Person Screen:**\
  Budget Planner is available through the top menu tabs on the Company and Person screens.

Once accessible, users with the required permissions can create and manage budget plans directly from these locations.
