# Contact Creation and Promotion

**Note**: To promote Contacts, the associated Account must be Linked/Promoted to Acumatica.

Let’s move ahead and learn how to Promote Contacts from Salesforce to Sage Intacct: &#x20;

1. Click on the related tab present on the Salesforce Account Page for creating a new Contact and then click on the “New” button to create a new Contact for the Account. &#x20;

2. After filling in the necessary details, click on the Save button to save the newly created record and hence the Save button leads to the promotion of the Contact.

The Users can view promoted contacts in the ERP by navigating to the Contacts tab of the Customers module in Acumatica ERP. They can also promote multiple contacts against a Customer.
