# Promote Contact

Below are the steps to verify the Contact Promote functionality.

***Note:** When a Contact is created with an Account, or an Account is linked to an existing Contact, the **“Promote to Sage”** button is disabled by design. Logically, a Contact created with an Account cannot be promoted individually; the associated Account must be promoted first.*

Create a “**Contact**” in Creatio and click on the “**Promote to Sage**” button.

Once a record is promoted into the Sage Intacct system, a unique ID “**ERP contact printas**” will be updated in the Creatio system to ensure a linked record in both systems. The unique ID will be used to update the record in both systems during subsequent updates.&#x20;

In the above example, contact “**ERP contact printas**” will be set as “**Jordan Hayes**” and will be visible in Sage Intacct ERP.

In Sage Intacct ERP, Select “**Contacts**” options by navigating from **Applications** | **Company** | **Contacts** as shown below.

Put Contact “**Print As**” in the **Contact Name** field as shown below and click on the Enter button of keyboard. On click of enter button, Contact Promoted from Creatio will be visible here.

Click on the **Contact name** hyperlink to review the Contact details.
